Vienna

Yesterday's gorgeous weather seems like a faint memmory now. Rain and storm forced me to hide into an internet cafe and gave me a chance to update this blog. Thankfully it does not look like it will last for long though.

I enjoyed the ride yesterday. The scenery was great and the bike seems to have just the right amount of horses for these hilly, twisty roads. I often found my thoughts drifting between immediate matters, such as where I will stay overnight and who I have just met and plans of what I will do when I get back to the UK. But then I realised that I won't be back for ages... Which made me relax again.
Vienna is a beautiful city surrounded by green hills. I am staying in a campsite on one of these hills just outside the city. Today I saw the botanical gardens, and the Belvedere Palace. And now I am here, waiting for the storm to pass...

Leaving Czech Republic

It has now been over 2 weeks since my departure from London.
So far I have only been visiting friends and family across Germany and Czech Republic. Having only stayed in countries I once lived in I cannot help feeling like I am still at home everywhere I go.
Tomorrow I leave for Austria - a new place for me. This will also be the first time on this trip when I will have to do with what I have packed and no friend or relative to greet me at the end of the day. I am looking forward to sitting on the bike again. (weather forecast between here- Karvina, and Vienna is 25-28C with lots of sunshine..)
